Week 4
This week I read an article on TeachThought called "The Elements of a Digital Classroom". It is partially about what makes a classroom a classroom, and if anything given the right tools and intent can be considered a classroom. I think this is interesting to think about because that thought process would open a lot of doors for students to work and learn in a more free environment. Maybe kids could learn English is a more broad variety of ways.
Another point from the article that I found interesting is how a Digital classroom has to the power to be constantly changing and evolving. I am not sure if this would help students stay engaged and interested in the classroom or if it will cause a distraction to them.
I like the idea of having students create their own pictures to create a linguistic landscape. Any type of hands-on activity usually helps students connect and remember the material better.
